Robert MacInnis, President

Dr. MacInnis has a strong entrepreneurial nature with a keen focus on value creation and team building. He has been involved with several highly successful business ventures in many diverse fields. Robert has developed and controls a leading oral health care company. He still actively practices cosmetic dentistry and oral surgery. He has participated in many advanced focus groups and organizations and has given several presentations throughout North America. He is a graduate of the University of Toronto.

David Dillon, Director of Research & Business Development

Prior to joining Dura 21, David owned and operated a highly successful lumber re-manufacturing and distribution company. Now, as our general manager, David uses his leadership skills and idea-generating abilities to guide and support our entire team. In particular, David focuses on identifying new business opportunities, streamlining them into strategic plans, and then implementing those plans to maximize value for Dura 21's clients.

Debra Jones, Administrator / Research Assistant

Debra is a graduate of Fanshawe College and brings over 25 years of administrative, managerial, and sales experience to Dura 21. She has worked in both the private and public sectors gaining invaluable experience in customer relations. She has previous sales experience in the financial sector where she obtained both her mutual funds and insurance licences. Debra has completed entrepreneurial and university-level business courses.


 

Gordon N. MacNeil, Research & Sales Associate

Gord's business career spans the globe. In the private sector, Gord served on the management team of Boart Longyear, an international mining equipment company. He has also held several key public-sector positions, including: trade and investment representative of the Ontario Ministry of Industry, Trade and Technology; senior consultant for federal and provincial business-support programs; and manager of ISO registration operations for the Quality Management Instituate, a division of Canadian Standards Association.


Lesley Alexander, Coordinator

Environmental Advantage Program

Drawing on her expertise and keen interest in progressive environmental and health issues, Lesley coordinates Dura 21's Environmental Advantage Program. A vigilant problem-solver, Lesley contributes a strong ability to manage relationships and integrate solutions in a team environment. Lesley earned her BSc in biology from McMaster University and a Masters of Public Health degree at the University at Buffalo.


Greg Vance, Processing Facility Manager

Greg brings over 20 years of experience in the manufacturing sector—including lumber management and occupational health and safety—to his work as our processing facility manager. A native of the Niagara Region (where Dura 21 is headquartered), Greg's knowledge and dedication strengthen our team's focus and the company's strategic growth. Most recently, Greg received a certificate from ASM International where he took the Metallurgy Course.

Jennifer Brooks, Research Coordinator

Jennifer is an expert in every stage of the research process. She has several years of experience as a professional researcher at the Hospital for Sick Children and Women's College Hospital, as well as at Brock and Guelph universities. Jennifer's research activities are informed by a BSc in biological science from the University of Guelph, and an MSc in Applied Health Sciences, which she earned at Brock University.
